Narrative behind this art:
There is a profound drama behind this box which is functionally working as an urn for a late son who lived 21 years of life with severe PEHO syndrome. This commission was from his devoted parents who cuddled and spent precious often sleepless time beside him with unimaginable care and love. According to statistics, most children with PEHO syndrome take a journey before 15 years old. So, it sure is telling that he was blessed and surrounded by full of love from his family. The clients shared all their history and experiences with me sincerely. Woodmice's idea came from their inspiration of his son who was immobilized whole his life but had a pure innocent soul and radiated so much love and joy to people. Mice’s tails express his initials CJ quietly. Full respect to the family and wish a peaceful journey to the son, CJ.
